Ingredients

2 cups rotini pasta

1 cup diced smoked ham

1 cup sliced salami

1 cup diced pepperoni

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup cream cheese, softened

2 cups heavy cream

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper, to taste

1/2 cup green onions, chopped (for garnish)

1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure it’s ready for baking.

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the rotini pasta and cook according to the package instructions until it reaches al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes. Once cooked, drain the pasta and set it aside.

Prepare the Cream Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese with the heavy cream, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and a sprinkle of salt and pepper. Using a whisk, blend the ingredients together until the mixture is smooth and fully combined.

Incorporate the Meats and Cheese: Add the diced smoked ham, sliced salami, diced pepperoni, half of the shredded sharp cheddar cheese, and half of the shredded mozzarella cheese to the cream mixture. Stir to combine everything thoroughly.

Mix in the Pasta: Gently fold the drained rotini pasta into the creamy meat and cheese mixture until every piece of pasta is well coated.

Transfer to Casserole Dish: Lightly grease a 9x13 inch casserole dish. Pour the pasta mixture into the dish, spreading it evenly across the bottom.

Add Cheese Topping: Sprinkle the remaining sharp cheddar and mozzarella cheese generously over the top of the casserole, ensuring even coverage.

Bake the Casserole: Place the dish in your preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes. The casserole is ready when the cheese is melted, bubbly, and has turned a lovely golden brown.

Garnish and Serve: Once baked, remove the casserole from the oven and allow it to cool for a few minutes. Just before serving, garnish it with chopped green onions and fresh parsley to add a pop of color and flavor.

Enjoy: Serve the Cheesy Charcuterie Casserole warm, and savor each delicious, cheesy, and savory bite!
