1 cup raw almonds

1 cup raw walnuts

1 cup pecans

1 cup crispy rice cereal

1 cup granola (honey or nut-flavored preferred)

1/2 cup unsweetened coconut flakes

1/2 cup honey

1/4 cup coconut oil (melted)

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 teaspoon sea salt

1/2 cup dried cranberries or raisins

1/2 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 300°F (150°C). To make cleanup easier, line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

    Prepare the Nut Mixture: In a spacious mixing bowl, combine the raw almonds, walnuts, pecans, crispy rice cereal, granola, and unsweetened coconut flakes. Gently toss the mixture to ensure even distribution of the ingredients.

      Create the Sweet Binder: In a small saucepan, over low heat, mix together the honey, melted coconut oil, vanilla extract, and sea salt. Stir the ingredients continuously until they are warmed through and fully combined; avoid boiling to maintain the consistency.

        Combine Mixtures: Drizzle the honey mixture over the nut and cereal blend. Using a spatula, carefully fold the ingredients together, making sure all dry elements are thoroughly coated.

          Spread on Baking Sheet: Pour the combined mixture onto the prepared baking sheet. Spread it out evenly, breaking up any large clumps to ensure an even bake.

            Bake: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes. Stir the mix halfway through baking to promote even browning. Watch closely to ensure it turns golden brown without burning.

              Cool: After baking, take the sheet out of the oven and let the trail mix cool completely on the baking sheet. It will become crisp as it cools.

                Add Dried Fruits & Chocolate: Once the trail mix is completely cooled, fold in the dried cranberries or raisins. If desired, sprinkle mini chocolate chips on top for an added layer of sweetness and texture.
