Ingredients

1 lb ground chicken

1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs (for an extra crunchy texture)

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 cloves garlic, finely minced

1/4 cup green onions, finely chopped

1 large egg, beaten

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1 tsp smoked paprika

1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (adjust based on your spice preference)

1/4 cup sweet chili sauce

1/4 cup sriracha (adjust based on your heat preference)

2 tbsp soy sauce

1 tbsp honey

Sesame seeds, for garnish

Fresh cilantro, for garnish

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to help with easy cleanup after baking.

Prepare the Chicken Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken with the panko breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, finely chopped green onions, beaten egg, salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and red pepper flakes. Use your hands or a spatula to mix thoroughly until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.

Form the Meatballs: With clean hands, scoop portions of the chicken mixture and shape them into meatballs about 1 inch in diameter. Place each meatball onto the lined baking sheet. Ensure there is space between each meatball to help them cook evenly.

Bake the Meatballs: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake the meatballs for 20-25 minutes. They are done when they are golden brown outside and reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).

Prepare the Firecracker Sauce: While the meatballs are baking, prepare the sauce by combining the sweet chili sauce, sriracha, soy sauce, and honey in a small saucepan. Heat the mixture over medium heat until it starts to bubble gently. Remove from heat to avoid overcooking.

Glaze the Meatballs: After baking, transfer the meatballs to a large bowl. Pour the warm firecracker sauce over the meatballs and gently toss them to ensure each meatball is evenly coated with the sauce.

Serve: Garnish the glazed meatballs with sesame seeds and fresh cilantro for added flavor and presentation. Serve immediately on their own or with toothpicks for easy eating.

                Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 40 minutes | Servings: 4-6

                  - Presentation Tips: For an extra touch, serve the meatballs on a platter lined with lettuce leaves, and place extra sauce on the side for dipping.
