Ingredients

1 ripe cantaloupe, diced into cubes or balls

1 ripe honeydew melon, diced into cubes or balls

8 to 10 slices of prosciutto, cut into 2-3 inch pieces

About 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves

Balsamic glaze, for drizzling

Freshly cracked black pepper, to taste

Wooden skewers, 6- to 8-inch in length

Instructions

Prepare the Melons: Begin by cutting the cantaloupe and honeydew melons in half. Scoop out the seeds using a spoon, then use a melon baller or a knife to cut the flesh into bite-sized cubes or balls. Aim for uniform sizes to ensure even assembly on the skewers.

Cut the Prosciutto: Take the prosciutto slices and cut them into halves or thirds depending on the size of your skewers. Each piece should measure approximately 2-3 inches long to fit well between the melon pieces.

Assemble the Skewers: Start with a wooden skewer and begin threading the ingredients. Place a piece of honeydew melon on first, followed by a folded piece of prosciutto. Add a fresh mint leaf, then top it off with a piece of cantaloupe. Repeat this process until the skewer is filled, leaving a little space at each end for easy handling.

Repeat the Process: Continue assembling the skewers with the remaining ingredients, ensuring an even distribution of melon and prosciutto on each skewer for a balanced flavor.

Drizzle & Serve: Once all skewers are assembled, arrange them neatly on a serving platter. Generously drizzle the skewers with balsamic glaze and finish with a sprinkle of freshly cracked black pepper for an extra hint of flavor.

Enjoy! Serve these delightful skewers immediately as a refreshing appetizer or snack. If you'd like them chilled, refrigerate for up to 30 minutes before serving.
