Ingredients

2 cups frozen mixed berries (choose a combination of blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, and blackberries)

1 cup Greek yogurt (plain or flavored, according to your taste)

1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or any milk of your choice)

1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional, adjust based on desired sweetness)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract for added flavor

1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional, for a nutritional boost)

Instructions

Blend the Base: Start by adding the frozen mixed berries, Greek yogurt, almond milk, honey or maple syrup (if using), vanilla extract, and chia seeds into a high-speed blender. Blend on medium-high speed until the mixture transforms into a smooth and creamy texture. You may need to stop occasionally to scrape down the sides of the blender, ensuring all ingredients are thoroughly combined.

Taste and Adjust: Once the mixture is blended to your liking, take a moment to taste it. If you prefer a sweeter smoothie, gradually add more honey or maple syrup, blending again until everything is well incorporated.

Pour into Molds: Carefully pour the vibrant smoothie mixture into silicone ice cube trays or small silicone molds. Fill each compartment approximately three-quarters full to allow for expansion as they freeze.

Freeze: Transfer the filled trays to the freezer and let them freeze for at least 4 hours, or until the smoothie cubes are completely solid and firm to the touch.

Pop Them Out: When the smoothie cubes are fully frozen, gently remove them from the trays. If you find them difficult to release, simply run warm water over the bottom of the trays for a few seconds to loosen the cubes.

Store: Place the smoothie cubes into a freezer-safe zip-lock bag or an airtight container. Don’t forget to label the bag or container with the date, and store them in the freezer for up to 3 months to maintain freshness.

Enjoy: Whenever you're ready for a quick and refreshing treat, simply blend 3-4 of the smoothie cubes with an additional splash of milk or yogurt. Enjoy your delicious smoothie on-the-go!
