This delicious drink combines the sweetness of frozen strawberries, the aromatic freshness of basil, and the zesty brightness of freshly squeezed lemons. Perfect for poolside lounging, BBQs, or casual gatherings, this easy-to-make beverage is both tasty and nutritious. Customize it to your liking with honey or agave for sweetness, and enjoy a cooling escape on warm days.

Ingredients

2 cups frozen strawberries

1 cup fresh basil leaves, tightly packed

1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (approximately 4 large lemons)

1/3 cup honey or agave syrup (adjust according to your sweetness preference)

2 cups cold water

Lemon slices and fresh basil sprigs for garnish

Instructions

Begin by adding the frozen strawberries, fresh basil leaves, freshly squeezed lemon juice, honey (or agave syrup), and cold water into a high-speed blender.

Blend the mixture on high speed until it reaches a smooth consistency, ensuring that the strawberries and basil are completely puréed.

After blending, taste the lemonade. If you find it not sweet enough, feel free to add more honey or agave syrup. Blend briefly again to incorporate the additional sweetener.

For a thicker texture, you can add an extra handful of frozen strawberries and blend until fully combined.

Once blended to your desired consistency, carefully pour the refreshing lemonade into chilled glasses.

Garnish each glass with a slice of lemon and a sprig of fresh basil for an appealing presentation.

Serve immediately with a straw or a spoon for easy stirring, and relish the delightful and refreshing flavors!
