Ingredients

2 cups cereal of choice (such as corn flakes, puffed rice, or granola)

1 cup milk (choose between dairy or your favorite plant-based alternative)

1 ½ cups plain Greek yogurt

½ cup sweetened condensed milk

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

¼ teaspoon salt

Optional Toppings: crushed cereal, mini chocolate chips, or fresh fruit pieces

Instructions

Cereal Infusion: In a spacious bowl, combine your chosen cereal with the milk. Allow this mixture to sit for about 15 minutes, giving the cereal time to infuse its delicious flavor into the milk.

Strain the Mixture: After the infusion time, take a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth and pour in the cereal-milk mixture. Gently press down on the cereal to extract as much milk as possible. Discard the leftover cereal, or save it to sprinkle as a topping later.

Mix the Base: In a large mixing bowl, pour in the strained cereal milk, then add Greek yogurt, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and salt. Whisk these ingredients together until the mixture is smooth and creamy.

Prepare the Baking Dish: Line an 8x8-inch (or equivalent size) baking dish with parchment paper, ensuring that there is some overhang on the sides for easy lifting later on.

Pour and Freeze: Pour the creamy yogurt mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it out evenly with a spatula. If desired, sprinkle optional toppings like crushed cereal or mini chocolate chips over the top for added texture and flavor.

Freeze: Cover the dish tightly with plastic wrap and place it in the freezer. Allow it to freeze for at least 4 hours, or until the mixture is completely solid.

Slice and Serve: Once the squares are frozen solid, lift them out of the dish using the overhanging parchment paper. Cut into squares of your preferred size and serve immediately. Any leftover squares can be stored in a sealed container in the freezer for up to a week.
