Ingredients

2 cups plain Greek yogurt

2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (adjust based on sweetness preference)

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

½ cup mini dark chocolate chips (optional)

¼ cup crushed nuts (optional, such as almonds, pistachios, or walnuts)

Instructions

Prepare the Yogurt Mixture: In a medium mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, honey (or maple syrup), and pure vanilla extract. Whisk or stir until the mixture is completely smooth and well combined.

Line the Baking Sheet: Take a parchment paper-lined baking sheet (approximately 9x9 inches). Pour the yogurt mixture onto the parchment, then use a spatula to spread it evenly into a layer that’s about ½ inch thick.

Add the Strawberries: Carefully place the sliced strawberries over the yogurt layer, arranging them evenly. Gently press each strawberry slice into the yogurt to ensure they adhere and don’t float during freezing.

Add Extra Toppings: If using, sprinkle the mini dark chocolate chips and the crushed nuts over the surface of the strawberries. This will introduce delightful bursts of flavor and crunchy texture to each bite!

Freeze: Transfer the baking sheet to the freezer. Allow the yogurt bark to freeze for a minimum of 4-6 hours, or until it is completely firm to the touch.

Cut and Serve: Once frozen solid, take the baking sheet out of the freezer. Lift the edges of the parchment paper to remove the entire yogurt bark from the sheet. Use a sharp knife to cut it into squares or break it into irregular pieces with your hands, based on your preferred sizes.

Storage: Any leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 weeks. Keep them separated with pieces of parchment to avoid sticking.
