1 lb (450g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes

2 medium apples (such as Honeycrisp or Granny Smith), cored and cut into 1-inch chunks

1/4 cup honey

1/4 cup Dijon mustard

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper, to taste

8 to 10 skewers (if using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning)

Prepare the Marinade: In a medium mixing bowl, combine the honey, Dijon mustard, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Whisk until the mixture is smooth and well blended.
