Ingredients

2 large cucumbers

1 can (5 oz) tuna in water, drained and flaked

2 tablespoons mayonnaise

1 tablespoon plain Greek yogurt

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon red onion, finely chopped

1 tablespoon dill pickles, finely chopped

1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried dill)

Salt and pepper, to taste

Cherry tomatoes, halved for garnish

Fresh dill sprigs for garnish

Instructions

Prepare the Cucumbers: Begin by thoroughly washing the cucumbers. Cut each cucumber in half lengthwise. Using a small spoon or melon baller, carefully scoop out the seeds from the center of each half, creating a boat shape that will hold your filling.

Make the Tuna Filling: In a medium mixing bowl, combine the flaked tuna, mayonnaise, Greek yogurt, Dijon mustard, finely chopped red onion, chopped dill pickles, and fresh dill. Mix all the ingredients together until they are fully combined and have a creamy consistency. Taste the mixture and season with salt and pepper according to your preference.

Fill the Cucumber Boats: Take each prepared cucumber half and spoon the tuna mixture generously into the hollowed-out centers. Make sure to fill each boat completely for maximum flavor in every bite.

Garnish: For a vibrant touch, place a halved cherry tomato on top of each tuna-filled cucumber boat. For an extra decorative element, you can also place a small sprig of fresh dill on each boat.

Serve: Arrange the beautifully filled cucumber boats on a serving platter. These delightful sliders are best enjoyed fresh but can be refrigerated for up to 2 hours if needed. Serve them cold for a refreshing appetizer or snack!
