Ingredients

12 slider rolls (choose Hawaiian or sesame for added flavor)

12 slices of creamy Swiss cheese

12 slices of premium deli ham

1/4 cup mayonnaise (adjust to taste)

1/4 cup Dijon mustard (for a tangy kick)

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

2 tablespoons packed brown sugar

1 tablespoon garlic powder

1 tablespoon onion powder

1 teaspoon poppy seeds (optional, for a decorative touch)

Fresh parsley, finely chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat Oven: Set your oven to preheat at 350°F (175°C) so it’s hot and ready once you're prepared to bake.

Prepare the Sauce: In a small mixing bowl, combine melted butter, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, and poppy seeds. Whisk until well blended and set aside for later use.

Build the Sliders: Carefully slice the slider rolls in half horizontally, ensuring they stay connected. Arrange the bottom halves in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.

Spread the Condiments: Using a spatula, evenly spread mayonnaise over the bottom halves of the slider rolls, followed by a layer of Dijon mustard.

Layer the Fillings: Start with the slices of ham, placing them evenly over the condiments. Top the ham layer with slices of Swiss cheese, ensuring even coverage.

Top with Rolls: Gently place the top halves of the slider rolls back over the cheese, forming complete sandwiches.

Apply the Sauce: Use a pastry brush to generously coat the top of the slider rolls with the prepared butter mixture, ensuring none of the rolls are dry.

Bake: Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. After that, remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the tops are beautifully golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.

Serve: Once baked, take the sliders out of the oven and allow them to cool for a few minutes. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley for a pop of color. Cut the sliders into individual pieces and serve warm for the best experience.
