Ingredients

2 ripe peaches, halved and pitted

1 tablespoon olive oil, plus more for drizzling

Sea salt, to taste

Freshly cracked black pepper, to taste

8 ounces burrata cheese, allowed to come to room temperature

1 tablespoon honey

1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, torn into pieces

Zest of 1 lemon

Balsamic reduction, for drizzling

Optional: four toasted baguette slices, for serving

Instructions

Preheat the Grill: Begin by preheating your grill to medium-high heat, aiming for a temperature of approximately 400°F (200°C).

Prepare the Peaches: Carefully brush the cut sides of the peach halves with olive oil, ensuring an even coating. Lightly season them with sea salt and freshly cracked black pepper to enhance their natural sweetness.

Grill the Peaches: Place the peach halves, cut-side down, directly onto the preheated grill. Allow them to grill for about 4-5 minutes, or until you see beautiful grill marks and the peaches begin to caramelize. Afterward, flip them over and grill for an additional 2-3 minutes, until they become slightly tender. Once done, remove them from the grill and let them cool for a few minutes.

Plate the Burrata: While the peaches are cooling, choose a large serving platter and carefully place the room temperature burrata cheese in the center, creating a focal point for your dish.

Arrange Grilled Peaches: Neatly arrange the grilled peach halves around the burrata on the platter, showcasing their vibrant color and delicious grill marks.

Finish with Flavor: Drizzle the honey generously over both the burrata and the grilled peaches, allowing the sweetness to complement the creamy cheese and the fruit. Next, sprinkle the torn basil leaves and lemon zest evenly over the entire arrangement for a burst of fresh flavor.

Drizzle with Balsamic Reduction: To elevate the dish, finish with a delicate drizzle of balsamic reduction, adding tangy richness and an appealing glossy finish.

Serve: For an optional crunchy element, serve the salad alongside toasted baguette slices. These make a delightful pairing to scoop up the creamy burrata and luscious peaches. Enjoy your delightful summer platter!
