1 lb ground chicken

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 small onion, finely chopped

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated

2 tablespoons soy sauce

2 tablespoons sriracha sauce (adjust to taste)

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

1 tablespoon sesame oil

1 red bell pepper, finely diced

1 medium carrot, grated

1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

Salt and pepper to taste

1 head of butter lettuce or Romaine lettuce, leaves separated for wraps

Optional toppings: chopped peanuts, extra cilantro, lime wedges

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C) to prepare for baking.

    Sauté Aromatics: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the finely chopped onion and sauté until it becomes translucent, approximately 3-4 minutes.

      Add Garlic and Ginger: Stir in the minced garlic and grated ginger, cooking for an additional 1-2 minutes until the mixture is fragrant and aromatic.

        Cook the Chicken: Introduce the ground chicken to the skillet. Use a spatula to break it apart. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is evenly browned and fully cooked.

          Prepare the Sauce: While the chicken cooks, combine the soy sauce, sriracha sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil in a small bowl. Whisk until well blended.
