Instructions

Marinate the Chicken:

    - In a medium bowl, combine the BBQ sauce, honey, soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Whisk until the mixture is smooth and well blended.

      - Place the chicken thighs into a large resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring each piece is thoroughly coated.

        - Seal the bag tightly and refrigerate for at least 1 hour; for best results, marinate overnight to enhance the flavor.

          Prepare the Coleslaw:

            - In a large mixing bowl, add the thinly sliced green cabbage, grated carrots, and sliced red cabbage. Toss to combine.

              - In a separate small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper until completely smooth.

                - Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture and gently toss all ingredients until well combined. Set aside to allow the flavors to meld while the chicken cooks.

                  Cook the Chicken:

                    - Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

                      - Take the marinated chicken out of the fridge and let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes. Remove the chicken from the bag, allowing excess marinade to drip off. Arrange the thighs skin-side up on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy cleanup.

                        - Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the skin is golden and crispy. Baste the chicken with additional BBQ sauce halfway through the cooking time for an even stickier finish.

                          Serve:

                            - After the chicken is fully cooked, allow it to rest for 5 minutes on a cutting board to retain its juices.

                              - Serve the sticky BBQ chicken thighs on plates alongside a generous portion of the crunchy coleslaw. Garnish the chicken with freshly chopped parsley and, if desired, sprinkle the coleslaw with chopped green onions for an extra pop of flavor.

                                Enjoy:

                                  - Dig into this delightful dish and indulge in the delicious combination of savory, sticky chicken paired with the refreshing crunch of coleslaw!
